Hi there! My name is Maddie. Up until 2023 I've never thought twice about whats been lurking in my kitchen tap water. I always drank out of the hose when I was a kid as I'm sure most Aussie kids have! I've had on and off IBS and just poor gut health most of my life until one day I decided I was sick of feeling like I had no energy.

On my health journey I discovered that filtering your water has immense benefits for your gut health and if you have a happy gut you have a healthy body. So I created The Filter Mate. I'm most passionate about improving my fellow Aussie's health and doing my part in reducing plastic waste in our beautiful country.
